According to a tech media site TechNave, they got some news about Huawei Mate 30 series camera configuration, saying that Huawei may be testing a new 1/1.5 inch camera. Another user on Weibo claims that Huawei may be testing a new 1/1.5-inch camera and dual IMX6XX main sensor. Later, he replied to his post with the camera specifications: 40MP 1/1.5” CMOS + 40MP + 8MP + ToF.
It is reported that the size of the IMX 600 sensor currently used by Huawei’s flagship machine is 1/1.7 inch, while the Lumia 1020 uses a sensor size of 1/1.5 inch. According to earlier news, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. submitted two trademark applications to EUIPO (EU Intellectual Property Office) on July 17, 2019, named Cine-Lens and Camera Matrix. Given the current report, the Mate 30 series is supposed to bring a new camera.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Expected Specifications
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have company’s self-made Kirin 985 chipset with the Balong 5000 5G modem for futuristic high-speed 5G technology. The device is expected to bring a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.
Recently, the company announced EMIUI 10, therefore the Mate 30 series should bring EMIUI 10 based user interface out of the box. All in all, these are speculations and nothing is official yet. For official confirmation, we have to wait a couple of months more, because usually, the company introduces its Mate series in October month.
