Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek today introduced its latest flagship processors Helio G90 and G90T. The G90 and G90T are eight-core CPUs with a frequency of 2.05 GHz. They use the same ARM Cortex-A76 and A55 as Qualcomm and Huawei’s latest flagship processors, and the GPU is given the Mali G76. Both the chipsets are built on TMSC’s 12 nm FinFET process.
Further speaking in detail, MediaTek HelioG90T consists of two ARMCortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55. The GPU is equipped with ARMMali-G76MC4, clocked at 800MHz, and built-in dual-core APU, combined with CPU and GPU, can provide 1TMACs AI calculation support, and brings with 10GB LPDDR4x memory, the frequency can be up to 2133MHz.
The official further said that Helio G90T has become the world’s first chip to receive TÜV Rheinland mobile online gaming experience certification, supporting 90Hz screen refresh rate, 64 million pixel camera ultra-high-definition camera and dual-keyword voice wake-up and other leading technologies.
MediaTek also released the chip-level game optimization engine MediaTekHyperEngine for the first time, including network optimization engine, control optimization engine, image quality optimization engine and intelligent load control engine.
